The game farm on which the lodge is situated is stocked with the following game :

Baboons, Blesbuck, Blue Wildebeest (Gnu), Duiker, Eland, Gemsbuck, Giraffe, Impala, Kudu, Ostriches, Red Hartebeest, Sable, Springbuck, Steenbuck, Vervet Monkeys, Waterbuck, Warthogs and Zebra.

Game drives on Stoney Hill are certainly one of the highlights of any visit. Whether you prefer the early morning drive combined with a coffee stop or the late afternoon drive with a cold gin and tonic either will not disappoint your expectations. During a night drive you may be fortunate enough to see Black-backed Jackal and Caracal. 

There are an abundant different species of birds including Night Jars.

The drives are generally about 2 hours in duration, but more than enough opportunities will present itself to shoot away with the camera.

NO SELF-DRIVE IS ALLOWED. Guided game drives take place in an open game viewing vehicle. These guided drives will be charged at an additional cost.
